Environment and Climate Emergency Companion Pack
Your guide to engaging with our Environment and Climate Emergency agenda
At the University of Exeter, we are committed to addressing the Environment and Climate Emergency across all of our campus locations. We all have a responsibility to help make a change and as students you can have a huge impact.
Read on to learn more about our efforts so far, and take some time to think about your own personal carbon footprint.
What impact could you have?
“Each and every student has a role to play in helping to slow climate change and whatever subject you are studying, your Students' Union is working collaboratively with the University and FXPlus to support you to do this. This work is led by an elected group of students who make up our Green Council but you can also get involved by joining a huge array of societies that are built around embedding sustainable practices.”
Amelia Banton, Students’ Union President Student Experience
“We have a moral duty to live, work, and study as sustainably as possible, to preserve our planet for generations to come. The work being carried out by the University to help tackle climate change and accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy is welcome and inspiring.”
Sunday Blake, Students’ Guild President
